Altitude Ultimate is focusing on creating opportunities for middle school students to find opportunities to play ultimate. From clinics to leagues to trainings, we have all sorts of things in the works to expand our outreach to kids ages 11-14.
MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES
SPRING
2023 Middle School Spring Season
The Spring season will host all Divisions (Open A, Open B, Girls A, Mixed A, 6th Grade only) assuming there are enough teams that register to play in a certain division. The league will run for 4-6 weeks depending on the number of teams that sign up. Each team will have 2-3 home games and 2-3 away games. The schedule will specify which teams play each other each week and who the Home/Away teams are. The team organizers/coaches will determine the exact days/times/locations for the games that work for both teams. More info on logistics for playing games will follow after registration closes.
The Registration Deadline is Friday 2/24/23. Fill out the below survey if you are planning on having a team in any capacity this Spring!
We define the middle school age group as players that are in grades 5th-8th. ** A 4th grader may be allowed to play but parents must contact the Middle School Coordinator with their playing experience and then we’ll determine if they should join a group.

SUMMER
FALL
The primary focus for Middle School play in the Fall will be school-based. If your program would like to be included in the Fall Season schedule, please fill out the survey below.
League Play
The Fall season will consist of 4-6 games in September/October (2-3 home games and 2-3 away games). The standard or scheduled night for games will be Tuesdays, however, it is up to the home team to reach out to the away team to finalize the date, time, and location for each week’s game. This will allow programs flexibility to meet everyones schedule. There is NO cost to join this league with a school based team!
Tournament Play
The one day Middle School State Tournament will be on Sat. Nov 4th. If your team would like to compete in the tournament (regardless of if you participate in the league or not) please still fill out this survey.
We define the middle school age group as players that are in grades 5th-8th. ** A 4th grader may be allowed to play but parents must contact the Middle School Coordinator with their playing experience and then we’ll determine if they should join a group.
Find A Team
If your school does not have a team, use our team finder page to find a program near you! *Not all schools have the ability to accept players from outside their school. Contact mike@altitudeyouthultimate.org with questions.
