Altitude Ultimate and USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States, are celebrating the second annual DISCover Ultimate Day on Saturday, September 19, by co-hosting a free, one-hour clinic designed to introduce the sport of ultimate to younger players.
The nationwide initiative provides an ideal opportunity for kids to learn more about ultimate in a fun, simple and interactive way, including the basic rules of play, fundamental skills and drills, and disc games.
The clinic in Westminster is scheduled for 4:30pm-5:30pm (check-in starts at 4:00) at Oakhurst Park 2. Participation is free, and attendees need to register at this link. Clinics are designed for new players between the ages of 8-13, but please contact libby@altitudeyouthultimate.org if you have a beginner outside of that range that is interested. Register early and you’ll also receive a FREE, Discraft UltraStar, the Official Game Disc of USA Ultimate.
