The tournament is a Halloween the med ultimate frisbee event that is certainly a sight to behold! Where el se can you see a bunch of Oompa Loompas chasing after a flying disc with out mind altering substances.\n\nSince its inception\, Fright Flight has been a tournament focused on fostering Spirit of the Game\, creativity\ , inclusion\, growing the sport of Ultimate\, healthy competition\, and having a lot fun! Built on 25 years of tradition\, Fright Flight is a gr eat way to play frisbee with old and new friends alike while dressed up in whatever crazy costume theme your team can come up with.\n\nFor 2022 we are hosting a smaller one-day event on Sunday\, October 23th in Broo mfield with 16 teams. We hope to find a home for a two day Fright Flight next year.\n\nHere are the basic tourney details for 2022:\nDates: Sund ay\, October 23\nFormat: 4/3 Mixed\nLocation: Broomfield Commons (not CS U!) - https://www.broomfield.org/Facilities/Facility/Details/9\nCostume s: you can't play without them!\nLocation: Broomfield Commons\n# of Team s: 16\nTourney Cost: $300 per team\, up to 20 players. Additional playe rs are $15 each.\nFormat: TBD - all teams will be guaranteed 4 games\n\ nFood and Beverages\n\n\n A food truck will be on site for food after t he games/during finals\n\n\nBid Submittals/Announcements: Fright Flight will fill up and we consider the following factors when awarding bids:\ n\n\n Bid submittal date\n History with the tourney (i.e. killer theme s in the past)\n Team theme\n Team size\n Team competitive ranking\n\ n\nBids will be awarded by September 18th or sooner if I can\, so pleas e get them in asap.\n\nAs always\, our goal is to make this event as fun as possible while still offering diverse levels of competition.
